About the role

  • Enable and inspire multi-disciplinary team(s) and/or cross functional resources('Squad') to pursue their mission, by guiding them on 'what' work should be completed.
  • The Product Owner constantly prioritises tasks and squad(s)backlog(s)with the customer at the heart of their decision making.
  • Ensure that the work is strategically aligned to the portfolio mission and engage with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies.
  • Key leadership role, galvanising the squad(s)around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace.

Requirements

  • Must have 8+ years of relevant experience in banking domain with a good understanding of wholesale lending.
  • Leads product vision, strategy, and roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Owns and manages the product backlog, ensuring priorities deliver maximum business value.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define clear goals, outcomes, and success measures.
  • Translates Epics and Features into actionable user stories that enable effective sprint delivery.
  • Monitors product performance and financial benefits, using metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identifies customer needs and develops customer-led initiatives through data and insights.
  • Drives delivery excellence by removing roadblocks, managing dependencies, and mitigating risks.
  • Actively participates in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, stand-ups, showcases, and retrospectives.
  • Provides ongoing platform support, including issue and incident management.
  • Builds strong relationships and influences stakeholders to gain alignment and drive outcomes.
  • Applies structured problem-solving and analytical techniques to support decision-making.
