About the role
- Ensure sufficient information is gathered to perform a conflict of interest analysis, which may involve discussions with senior staff and independent research through external sources, including Pacer and others, as needed.
- Perform analysis via conflicts analytics tool, using policies and procedures as guidance in issue identification.
- Identify and summarize all potential conflict of interest issues for resolution with the team supervisor.
- Act as liaison with senior staff on issue mitigation and/or resolution.
- Maintain conflict database, ensuring all data is accurate through quality control reviews.
- Other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in conflict analysis, client intake, AML or the legal field
- Ability to identify and analyze complex issues (critical thinking)
- Strong research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work with limited supervision
- Ability to work efficiently with a high degree of accuracy
- General understanding of the legal and/or business consulting industries preferred
- General understanding of conflict of interest and new client intake principles preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat)
- Experience with Intapp Open, similar conflict software, or Boolean search logic preferred
