About the role
- Develop concepts for water turbines and define associated components and assemblies
- Create basic designs for hydraulic turbines and contribute innovative solutions
- Independently perform design-related calculations
- Review manufacturing drawings and conduct design reviews
- Ensure projects are executed on time, with high quality, and within budget
- Closely collaborate with internal and international teams during project execution
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (FH, HF or equivalent)
- Ideally, proven professional experience in the field of water turbines
- Comprehensive technical knowledge in the design and engineering of mechanical components
- Proficient with CAD software (Siemens NX)
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, material selection, and relevant standards
- Excellent communication skills
- German and English language skills, at least level B2
- Additional language skills are an advantage
