About the role
- Provide high-level operational human resource (HR) support across the division/department.
- Address employee concerns, provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, and support managers in talent management, employee relations, and performance management.
- Collaborate on strategic HR initiatives, support recruitment processes, and drive employee engagement and development.
- Maintain positive working relationships with employees, addressing their concerns professionally and confidentially.
- Direct employees to the appropriate source on special matters.
- Manage, organize, and maintain HR databases, documentation, and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support workforce planning and recruitment strategies by partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and execute recruitment strategies.
- Drive the recruitment process by initiating requisitions, conducting interviews, and ensuring the process stays on track.
- Support and assist with the succession planning process to ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates for key positions.
- Ensure the proper completion of background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment assessments.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Identify training needs and develop and implement programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting and performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in human resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Upholding high ethical standards and integrity in all HR practices and decisions.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed; estimated 5-10%
