About the role
- Key contributor to the design, development, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our industrial camera systems product line and associated electro-mechanical systems and controls.
- System design and component selection for new equipment and features as well as component obsolescence.
- Assist with generating proposals, new order review/writeup, and developing customer specific drawings.
- Troubleshooting field and production issue related to the product line.
- Key contributor to the related camera system software development and testing.
- Developing and delivering technical training to internal team members and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Physics with knowledge of Optics and Imaging Science, preferred.
- A highly motivated, self-directed, team-oriented, and trustworthy person.
- Ability to lead hands-on: design, development, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ability to work and communicate with all members of a project team.
- Ability to accept technical direction and coaching from senior engineers and managers.
- Excellent computer skills, analytical abilities, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer relations skills.
- Experience in Power, Paper, Steel, Glass, and Cement industries is a plus.
- AutoCAD and controls experience a plus.
