About the role
- Development and design of hydraulic turbomachinery, with a focus on large pumps
- Understanding and interpreting hydraulic design calculations for turbomachinery
- Responsible for problem-solving in machine design
- Design and optimization of mechanical components
- Preparation of manufacturing documentation
- Technical and production-related consultations with customers and suppliers
- Internal interface to project engineering, structural/strength calculations, project management, purchasing and production planning
Requirements
- Completed technical university degree, ideally in Mechanical Engineering (FH/University)
- Professional experience in mechanical design or in turbomachinery is an advantage
- Very good CAD skills, preferably Siemens NX
- Proficient user of MS Office
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and strong commitment
- Independent working style
