Works with senior management to ensure production schedules are met, quality assurance, EHS programs, policies and procedures are implemented at all times.
Ensures that performance and quality conform to established standards and governmental agency guidelines, ensuring sustained customer satisfaction.
Implements process and procedures for production management, enforcing quality metrics, EHS best practices, and Aircraft Safety programs to meet contractual goals.
Consults with senior management to determine functional area program processes, assuring work efficiency and maintaining strong performance results.
Responsible for program management within assigned region, maintaining established maintenance schedules within budget.
Present performance results and metrics to Sr program management and the Government customer.
Develop and monitor compliance with the program's comprehensive Master Training Plan (MTP), QT9, MRO, and General Operating Procedures (GOP).
Work directly with supporting program functional areas, ensuring inspections, statistical process analysis and audits are conducted continually as specified.
Develop internal support procedures regarding site staffing and manning, overall regional management, and work site performance.
Ensure all administrative tasks and procedures are completed in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
Directly interface with the customer ensuring contract compliance to maintain customer satisfaction.
Provide leadership, aircraft maintenance knowledge and training to the maintenance teams within the assigned region; develop site staff and implement best practices.
Responsible for regional sites production schedule, maintaining quality assurance and safety compliance, including ISO compliance.
Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
Requirements
Five (5) years of Aircraft maintenance experience on the assigned aircraft MDS (Mission Design Series) C-12/ King Air, UC-35 Citation, C-26 Metroliner.
Three (3) years aviation maintenance supervisory experience is Required.
A Valid (FAA) A&P Certificate is Required.
A High School diploma or GED Equivalent is Required at a minimum; a bachelor's degree in an associated discipline is Preferred. (May substitute the bachelor's degree with equivalent work experience).
A valid Driver's license is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship is Required.
Ability to communicate knowledgeably and effectively at senior management levels.
Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a large and diverse workforce.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time; will visit every CONUS site in the region and ensure audits every Two (2) years.
Competent in the use of a computer, to include Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel.
In-depth knowledge of flight line operations, aircraft/vehicle movement, and safety/hazards.
Must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines; skilled in operations, logistics, and resource management.
Physical requirements: climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions; frequently lifts parts and equipment up to 20 pounds; occasionally lifts objects up to 50 pounds.
