About the role

  • Providing timely and accurate advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Support the resolution of employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases.
  • Coach and guide line managers in people management practices to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with employment law and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes, systems, and employee engagement.
  • Provide data and insights through HR metrics and reports to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience providing HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Experience supporting disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases.
  • Experience maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards).
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
