About the role

  • Functional leadership and further development of the IT Applications and Service Management team.
  • Coaching, development and prospective expansion of the team.
  • Responsibility for the operational management of the primary IT service provider (including Service Desk, End User Services, Managed Cloud, Network, Application Management).
  • Development and maintenance of a comprehensive SAP roadmap.
  • Ensuring that the application landscape optimally supports the company’s objectives.
  • Managing the migration of SAP S/4HANA, BW and SAC to the cloud.
  • Establishing and optimizing ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release) in Jira/Confluence.
  • Monitoring KPIs (e.g. MTTR, SLA compliance, license utilization) and driving continuous improvement.
  • Budget planning and controlling for operations, development and service contracts.

Requirements

  • University degree (Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration with IT focus) or equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience in Application Management with a focus on SAP operations and cloud transformation.
  • Experience in functional leadership of teams or project responsibility with leadership qualities.
  • Solid ITIL knowledge and practical experience with Jira/Confluence.
  • Experience in budget and cost controlling for IT projects and services.
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
  • Structured, independent working style and a hands-on mentality.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
