About the role

  • Client projects in the field of ground/foundation and geotechnics (development and preparation of statements and geotechnical site investigation reports; foundation engineering calculations and recommendations; excavation approvals; geotechnical construction supervision)
  • Planning and preparation of investigation concepts and overseeing their implementation
  • Contributing to business development, negotiations and coordination with our clients, project partners and authorities
  • Acting as the interface to specialist planners and advising clients and construction managers
  • Managing subcontractors for laboratory and drilling activities in your projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, Environmental Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally professional/practical experience in the mentioned areas
  • Basic knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations for the field
  • Interest in a mix of site-based and office work
  • Structured working style, high degree of initiative and strong communication skills for client management
  • Enthusiasm for learning new subject matters and for teamwork
  • German language skills: at least C1 level in spoken and written (proficient in social and professional contexts)
  • Willingness to travel locally and possession of a Class B driving licence
