About the role
- Planning and conducting wound rounds, documenting wounds and creating wound assessments
- Implementing optimal wound prevention measures and minimizing or avoiding pain burden
- Supporting attending physicians with conventional wound treatment
- Training nursing staff in wound care procedures and infection prevention
- Providing individualized basic and treatment care for residents
- Documenting the nursing process (medication administration, care records)
- Contributing to ensuring the quality of care
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a certified nurse, geriatric nurse and/or registered nurse with additional wound management qualification
- Team player with empathy in dealing with residents and colleagues
- Independent and solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to work across all shifts
- Comfortable with IT systems / IT affinity
