• Provides analytical and technical assistance in the research, development, planning, and execution of health and welfare benefit and wellness programs.
• Responsible for ensuring accurate enrollment and administration in the group benefit plans, administer changes to benefit plans and facilitate open enrollment activities.
• Verifies monthly new hire enrollments, conducts new hire orientation briefings and fields client and employee benefit, vendor invoicing reconciliation and wellness questions.
• Assists in the design of and conduct new hire orientation benefit briefings.
• Maintains enrollment packets for benefits and contributes to the messaging of open enrollment communication materials.
• Validates benefit enrollment information and captures arrears resulting from late enrollments.
• Validates life events and captures arrears resulting from changes.
• Completes Qualified Medical Support Orders.
• Submits eligibility enrollments and update data to third party administrators (TPA).
• Resolves moderately complex benefit issues related to employee, management and TPA inquiries as necessary.
• Audits information received from union benefit vendors and directs Team Members to vendors when necessary.
• Updates and distributes voluntary and required benefits communications.
• Maintains updated information on the G4connect benefit’s related pages.
• Verifies third party Consolidated Omnibus Reconciliation Act (COBRA) database.
• Assists with monthly benefit carrier bill reconciliation.
• Coordinates wellness events, flu shots, annual health fair and other wellness challenges.
• Contributes to the creation of monthly benefits communication messages.
• Updates invoice payment tracking sheet to correspond with pay period deductions.
• Participates in annual compliance and audit activities as needed.
• Assists in the creation and running of monthly reporting as needed.
