About the role
- Complete design and development work packages
- Produce new products or product variants
- Use CAD software and supporting systems
- Prepare design schemes, calculations, specifications, and BOMs
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Support manufacturing
- Ensure designs meet legislative requirements and customer expectations
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of PSV design and manufacturing processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Good understanding of industry standards
- Willingness to travel
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience (bonus)
- Experience with modular design philosophies and BS8888 compliance (bonus)
- Familiarity with CAD systems and BOM accuracy processes (bonus)
