About the role

  • Own end to end recruiting for senior, staff, and principal engineering roles with a strong emphasis on outbound sourcing
  • Build, test, and optimize creative sourcing strategies using research, competitor mapping, technical communities, direct outreach, and non traditional channels
  • Partner closely with Engineering Leadership to define success profiles, hiring plans, and long term technical needs
  • Conduct intake calls, candidate screens, and guide candidates through the full process until offer ready
  • Develop and maintain talent maps for Tier 1 engineering organizations and competitive companies
  • Use data to measure funnel health, track sourcing performance, and forecast hiring outcomes
  • Maintain consistent candidate communication and create an equitable, transparent experience
  • Serve as a talent advisor to leadership by providing insights on market trends, compensation, and sourcing strategy
  • Act as a brand ambassador and represent the company at meetups, events, and technical communities
  • Mentor junior recruiters or sourcers as the team grows

Requirements

  • You have 5 or more years of technical recruiting experience with a strong focus on sourcing
  • You have successfully hired senior and principal level engineers at Tier 1 companies or high growth startups
  • You bring a mix of startup experience and Tier 1 experience, either in house or RPO supporting engineering teams
  • You are highly creative and resourceful in how you find candidates and do not rely solely on LinkedIn
  • You have experience building outbound strategies from scratch and iterating quickly
  • You can manage multiple stakeholders and build trust with engineering leaders
  • You are data driven and comfortable using ATS systems, sourcing tools, AI tools, and CRM pipelines
  • You communicate clearly, stay organized, and thrive in fast paced environments
  • You are persistent, resourceful, and comfortable tackling complex and ambiguous searches
