About the role
- You ensure the operation of semiconductor and epitaxy systems in the applications laboratory.
- You support the installation, commissioning and modification of equipment as part of new developments and upgrades.
- You perform repair and maintenance work on complex technical systems.
- You plan and execute routine tasks as well as prototype installations.
- You ensure the availability of all necessary materials and spare parts.
- You collaborate with colleagues from R&D and production to promote cross-departmental knowledge exchange.
- You further develop and improve existing equipment types and contribute to the development of new system types.
Requirements
- You have completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic or a comparable technical qualification.
- You have experience in maintenance and service of semiconductor or epitaxy equipment.
- You are familiar with handling specialty gases and chemicals used in semiconductor processes.
- Your responsible and precise working style ensures stable laboratory operations.
- You possess strong organizational skills and a hands-on mentality.
- You are willing and medically able to work under cleanroom conditions — including wearing specialized protective clothing, adhering to strict hygiene protocols and using heavy respiratory protection if required.
