About the role
- Contribute to overall safety performance by assisting regions in achieving safety goals
- Maintain a safe working environment following health and safety guidelines
- Participate in driver engagement programs
- Support train-the-trainer initiatives
- Ensure full DOT and OSHA compliance
- Lead accident and incident investigations
- Develop and manage safety programs and procedures
- Conduct safety and compliance audits for branches
- Coordinate training programs to increase proficiency in safety practices
- Maintain and compile accident and safety reports
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least five years safety experience within an industrial and/or distribution setting
- Thorough knowledge of DOT and OSHA rules and regulations
- Thorough knowledge of Canadian HSEQ and Transport Canada rules and regulations
- Knowledge of Google Suite
