About the role

  • Design and model complex plumbing or piping systems based on provided specifications
  • Ensure all associated drawings, calculations, and material lists are accurate and complete
  • Collaborate with project teams to coordinate comprehensive systems
  • Operate independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and ensure quality

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Design, Civil Engineering, Computer-Aided Drafting/Design, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Equivalent field experience in managing large commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of building construction
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Solid math and problem-solving skills
  • Manage design schedules and lead coordination efforts
  • Working knowledge of Wisconsin Plumbing Code for plumbing designers
  • Experience with steam and hydronic systems for piping designers
