  • Navigate strategic stakeholder relationships in a multi-vendor environment and align cross-functional teams
  • Establish feedback loops and ensure teams are responsive and continuously improving
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments and manage risks, proposing mitigation strategies
  • Fulfill reporting and contractual requirements (e.g., monthly delivery reporting, GitHub project reporting each sprint)
  • Support the practice of delivery management within the larger company and participate in community of practice
  • Responsibilities may shift and grow organically over time

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master on an agile scrum team
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead delivery teams at Agile Six or at like minded organizations within the civic tech space
  • In-depth knowledge and demonstrated application of Agile principles and practices
  • Ability to coach teams in Agile practices and support team self-organization
  • Demonstrated experience supporting newly formed teams on complex projects
  • Demonstrated ability to independently remove impediments to team progress and maintain alignment and productivity across different team structures
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex stakeholder relationships and ensure smooth collaboration and alignment across multiple teams or organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and resolve complex dysfunction within teams without extensive external support
  • Has lived and worked in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; employer participates in E-Verify and cannot sponsor visas
  • Occasional travel to Washington, DC required 3-4 times per year (2-4 days per trip)
  • Certified Scrum Master Certification (desired)
  • Experience working with government agencies (desired)
  • U.S. Veteran status encouraged (desired)
