About the role
- Lead, mentor, and support team of engineers in design, development, testing and deployment.
- Architect and implement scalable, robust, and secure software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and product roadmaps.
- Review code, ensure best practices, and enforce engineering standards.
- Identify and resolve technical risks and roadblocks.
- Conduct system analysis and performance tuning to optimize applications and platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and workflows.
- Provide technical guidance in technology selection, architecture decisions, and system integrations.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Lead technical planning, estimation and prioritization activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in technical leadership or senior engineering roles.
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development practices.
- Proven leadership ability and experience managing and onboarding a team of engineers.
- Experience designing and scaling distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
