About the role

  • Analysis and preparation of customer data for the design and optimization of our shuttle storage systems
  • Development of systematic data pipelines for recurring analyses (e.g., customer data, inventory and movement data, performance data)
  • Support in modeling design scenarios and performance calculations
  • Collaboration on the development of internal tools for automated data analyses and decision support
  • Data visualization and preparation of clear, interpretable reports for internal and external presentations
  • Depending on your interest, you may also work with Elastic Cloud data sources and simulations

Requirements

  • Enrolled student (m/f/d) in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical degree program
  • Proficient in Python, ideally with experience in Pandas, NumPy, Polars, or similar libraries
  • Interest in data science methods and structured data analysis
  • Analytical and structured way of working, with an affinity for automation and technical systems
  • Independent work style, initiative, and enjoyment of collaborating in a dynamic, growth-oriented team
  • Experience with Streamlit, Elastic Cloud, or building small software tools is a plus but not required
