About the role

  • Manage and oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Evaluate and deploy new technologies that improve system efficiency and scalability.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to maintain infrastructure services.
  • Monitor system performance and implement upgrades and enhancements as needed.
  • Lead infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and deployment.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of data and systems in the infrastructure.
  • Mentor and develop the infrastructure team to ensure a high level of technical expertise.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE or equivalent work experience
  • - 3+ years leading Cloud and On Prem based Infrastructure and/or IT/DevOps teams
  • - 4+ years’ experience managing cloud-based and on-prem infrastructure
  • - 4+ years’ experience utilizing at least one scripting language, preferably PowerShell, Python, or Bash
  • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • - Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • - Time-management skills
  • - Ability to think holistically about solutions and define innovative approaches to challenges employing superior troubleshooting skills
  • - Experience managing Infrastructure and Cloud Operations Teams in a multi-state and multi data center environment
  • - Excellent leadership skills and an ability to effectively manage a team across multiple tasks and projects
  • - Manage and configure Azure Cloud based and Microsoft on prem environments
  • - Expert in Microsoft Azure and On-prem systems management. For example, Entra/Active Directory, Azure subscription setup and management, MS365, Office365, InTune
  • - Long term experience with Networking, Security, and Firewalls
  • - Virtual server management, operations and maintenance in both On Prem and Azure configuration
  • - Azure App Services, Azure SQL and MS SQL Server
  • - PowerShell or similar scripting languages for orchestration of cloud and on-prem operations.
  • - Azure DevOps or Jenkins
