About the role

  • Leverage existing customer potential and build a continuous sales pipeline
  • Engage with new customers, including support during requirements analysis
  • Manage existing customers in collaboration with project managers
  • Network and participate in industry events
  • Prepare proposals, including complex tendering processes
  • Execute campaigns in cooperation with marketing
  • Establish scalable sales processes and KPI frameworks
  • Drive the evolution from project-based work to product business (Cloud & SaaS)

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent
  • 5–10 years of IT sales experience in the IT sector, ideally with an existing customer network
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: identify opportunities, manage risks, and promote a performance culture
  • Experience in KPI-driven sales and social media sales
  • Strong technical understanding: familiar with cloud and software projects and comfortable collaborating with developers
  • Initial experience scaling a business (e.g., building a tech company or a business unit)
  • Excellent market knowledge of IT trends and vendors
  • Strong communication skills: persuasive and empathetic when engaging with stakeholders
  • Business-fluent German and English
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings (decreasing over time)
