About the role

  • Develop and oversee efficient departmental tracking systems, growth, communication, and paperwork, etc.
  • Oversee and measure the health, functionality, and development of the department team members
  • Relationship building through-out local community
  • Regular written and verbal communication with team, clients, and outside providers
  • Ability to effectively perform all areas of employment services as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Uphold the philosophy of the Employment First Initiative

Requirements

  • College degree preferred or equivalent proven experience
  • Clear background checks as defined by state regulations and policies
  • Minimum one year experience providing job development in the field of developmental disability services or similar
  • Minimum 2+ years management experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required to effectively communicate with individuals with different communication styles and ability levels.
  • Understand program policies and procedures within ACC, as well as with all other I/DD service agencies
  • Demonstrated ability to provide culturally sensitive services to diverse client populations and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others in a culturally diverse environment
  • Ability to provide employment services and compliance with confidentiality in accordance with federal, state and/or funding source requirements
  • Knowledge of community resources enabling appropriate referrals for specific client needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Workplace, and various other electronic record keeping systems
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) fluency preferred.
