About the role

  • Achieve Annual Sales Targets: Deliver sales objectives as outlined in the annual business plan.
  • Maintain Pricing Standards: Ensure or improve ASP (Average Selling Price) for the product portfolio in the assigned territory.
  • Promote Products: Coordinate marketing activities, including product presentations and competitor analysis, to strengthen Abbott’s visibility and competitive position.
  • Key Account Development: Collaborate with the Key Account team to support strategic customers through high-value programs.
  • Support Internal Teams: Provide timely and accurate information to Bids & Tenders and Customer Service teams.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Foster effective collaboration with Sales & Marketing departments.
  • Leadership & Compliance: Demonstrate leadership aligned with Abbott’s guiding principles and ensure compliance with all quality procedures.
  • Market Support: Assist the Neuromodulation Marketing Division with projects and tasks specific to the Dutch market.
  • Reporting: Prepare concise monthly activity reports and outline plans for the upcoming month.
  • Technical Expertise & Education: Deliver high-level technical support and training to customers within the territory.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on technical knowledge and healthcare market dynamics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Medical or Technical fields).
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful hospital clinical sales and support experience.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High flexibility and ability to manage pressure effectively.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with strong leadership qualities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and occasionally across Europe.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software tools.
