About the role

  • Market Abbott products to the healthcare community by visiting physicians, distributors, pharmacies, etc., providing information and product benefits, and meeting defined commercial targets.
  • Position product concepts within the diabetes care segment, keeping distributors, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other professionals involved in commercialization or product use informed and up to date.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships and regular follow-up with customers in your portfolio to encourage long-term commercial relationships and monitor each customer’s results.
  • Prospect new customers, plan visits, define approach strategies, and offer Abbott products in the diabetes care segment.
  • Train pharmacists, pharmacy staff, nurses, and other professionals involved in selling or using the products to provide information and/or enable correct product use.
  • Facilitate diabetes screening campaigns using Abbott products, and participate in conferences, events, and campaigns in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed);
  • Sales techniques/skills;
  • Experience in demand generation in the healthcare industry within the relevant sector;
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical market and prior work with diabetes is a plus.
