About the role
- Independently process monthly payroll runs in Abacus for approximately 800 employees and assist with year-end closing and reconciliation tasks
- Subject-matter responsibility for social insurance, withholding taxes, and accurate payroll reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Handle accident, sickness, disability (IV) and income compensation (EO) cases, as well as daily allowance benefits
- Support the preparation of monthly KPIs and reports
- Record and verify all relevant changes (new hires and terminations; modifications)
- Act as a point of contact for employees and managers on all matters related to payroll, social insurance and HR administration
- Collaborate on HR administrative processes and on digitization and optimization projects as needed
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role, preferably with further training in payroll, social insurance and/or HR
- Independent, self-driven personality with analytical thinking
- Flexible, precise and reliable working style with high data accuracy
- Open to change and process improvements
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
