About the role

  • Lead sales efforts across all 3M brands/products into the collision repair segment of the US Automotive Aftermarket Division
  • Implement sales programs, plans and policies as agreed upon with direct supervisor
  • Determine priorities, frequencies, and call patterns to be most effective and productive
  • Support St. Paul and regional programs and initiatives
  • Create business plans for end users and solutions to everyday problems
  • Track all activities in 3M CRM tool
  • This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and three (3) years of sales experience within the Automotive Aftermarket/Collision industry in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Current, Valid Driver’s license OR High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and seven (7) years of experience within the Automotive Aftermarket/Collision industry in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Financial acumen
  • Technical expertise in the Automotive and/or Collision industry

  • Time management
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
