About the role
- Manage Account Specialist team: coach and develop team members to achieve individual and team targets relating to new business and expansion.
- Enhance processes and aid in performance, engagement and growth within 1Password.
- Develop and implement the team’s annual objectives and roadmap aligned with 1Password, Go to Market and broader team strategy.
- Lead key initiatives to achieve efficiencies and serve more customers with existing resources.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional peers to understand their needs, priorities, and efforts.
- Manage day-to-day operations and customer escalations.
- Define and adjust team roles and responsibilities to enhance collaboration and workflows.
- Drive development and/or improvement of team practices, processes, tools, and systems to enhance productivity and accountability.
- Monitor, analyze and report on the team’s KPIs to ensure alignment with broader Go to Market objectives.
- Guide team through change by clearly communicating purpose and impact and integrating changes into team expectations and operations.
- Set clear expectations and priorities for team members, and provide direction, support, and continuous feedback to drive performance and career growth.
- Create a team environment that reflects company values, encouraging psychological safety, adaptability, and ownership.
- Monthly onboarding and 30/60/90 day expectations: Get to know product, tools, team; map processes; run 1:1s and team meetings; outline full team strategy by month 6.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Sales or Account Management working with transactional high volume customers.
- 1+ years in a leadership role, preferably within the SaaS or cybersecurity industry.
- Solid business acumen with advanced knowledge in the security landscape.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the demonstrated ability to support strategic plans and contribute to achieving measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in improving team operations and performance, as well as managing metrics to drive productivity and accountability.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally with peer leaders and teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to de-escalate, negotiate, and articulate complex technical terms in a digestible way by presenting data-supported proposals, sharing expertise, and incorporating feedback into decisions.
- Experience prioritizing, supporting or leading functional initiatives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, lead and develop high-performing teams with a strong and supportive team culture.
- Experience using Salesforce and other SaaS tools and implementing and/or iterating on existing processes.
- It’s a bonus if you have personal experience with 1Password or other common security tools.
